Arrangements have been concluded by the management of Bendel newspaper to honour some deserving individuals with Award of Excellence for their contributions to the development of Edo State in various thematic areas as part of activities to mark the 20th anniversary of the tabloid.
In a release signed by the publisher/Editor-in-Chief, Elder Osagie Aifuwa and made available to the Groove Watch News indicated that the award is a way of rewarding deserving Edo individuals and personalities who have distinguished themselves in various areas of human endeavours from the petroleum industry, law, engineering, hotel and hospitality, politics, journalism and media management, entertainment, enterpreneurship, clergy and religious organisations, human rights and social crusade.
Elder Aifuwa also said that the ceremony is billed to hold on Saturday, 26 November, 2022, at Motel Benin Plaza, G.R.A., Benin City at 11am prompt.
The statement also urged the awardees and their invitees to be seated by 10:30 am.
