The Assistant Seriki of Erie Sakponba Bereau De Change, Alhaji Amidu Kowait has declared that until the Federal Government reopens the nation's borders that the naira will continue to fall against dollars.

He further said that if the Nation's borders are reopened that within 3 months the nation currency will appreciate and the prices of goods will come down as well.

The Bereau De Change operator made this observation in an interview with the Groove Watch Magazine in Benin City.

He said apart from contraband goods that other goods should be aloud to come into the country to reduce the suffering of the people and grow the economy, adding that it will also help the naira to appreciate.

On the open grazing of cows, Alhaji Seriki Kowait said before now cows were usually kept in the bush for grazing while those met for consumption are brought to the towns or cities to be slaughtered.

On 2023 general election, he said what Nigerians need is a person that will better the life of the people and equally unite them, irrespective of the zone the person is coming from. He called for unity in the country in order to move ahead.
