Foremost governorship aspirant for the forthcoming Edo Guber election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Engr. Gideon Ikhine, aka game changer has gotten the final nod to contest the primary election slated for 17th of February, 2024 in Edo State.
The clearance certificate which he personally made available to news men at Abuja was signed by the National Organizing Secretary of APC, H.E Sulaiman Mohammad Argungu, OFR.
Looking at all the parameters in considering an aspirant in a crucial election like this, Engr. Ikhine has since been adjudged the best person by majority of the party members who truly want APC to return to government house.
Ikhine has already won the heart of ordinary people in Edo State, and they are eagerly waiting for the party to do their part by giving him the ticket to run and he will respond appropriately to their call to deliver Edo state to the APC.
It is no longer in doubt that Ikhine is the only aspirant who has boldly come out to speak openly about party supremacy which he also promised to abide with if considered and voted for during the party primary. Because he wants to be accountable to the leadership of the party and to Edo people in general.
During his campaign across the 18 local government areas he carefully presented his programmes of action to develop the state. Members of the party had the opportunity to assess him and he was given a pass mark to go ahead.
And another history was repeated by the screening committee at the APC National headquarters by giving him final clearance to participate in the coming primary. To Edo people it is already a done deal because they believe the delegates who have earlier given him pass mark during his meeting with them at their local governments will conclude the work by voting for him overwhelmingly during the primary election.
In his response shortly after receiving the clearance certificate from the National Organizing Secretary, H.E Sulaiman Argungu Muhammad, OFR, Engr. Gideon Ikhine thanked the committee for finding him worthy to participate in the coming APC governorship primary in Edo State.
He promised to implement all the vision he has for Edo people to the letter to make the state a better place to live.
Ikhine is a politician to the core who knows the yearning and feelings of the people. Also, he has all it takes to fix the economy of the state in the shortest period for the benefit of the people.
Therefore, nominate and vote for Engr. Gideon Ikhine and expect a resounding victory for APC during the September 21 Edo election.
