Senator Urhoghide further said that he was able to touch the lives of many people in Edo South Senatorial District with quality representation in his eight years in the NASS.
He recalled that one of the highlights of his performance as a senator was the fact that he gave good support to indigenes of Edo State whenever they have cause to appear before the Senate on any issue.
On the 2024 governorship election, Senator Urhoghide said he was coming into the race to bring sanity into it so as it would not be hijacked by some politicians, whom he say may have intent on fostering their hegemony on the people by influencing the emergence of non prepared candidates.
He said that he supports the ongoing debate that the Edo Central Senatorial District should be allowed to produce the next governor of the state.
