Edo LP Suspends Former House Of Rep. Candidate, Murphy, Others, Over Insubordination

The Edo Labour Party, LP, has suspended the former House of Representatives candidate for Uhunmwode and Orhionmwon Constituency, on the platform of the Labour Party, Mr. Murphy Paul Imasuen and three others over insubordination.

This was contained in a statement jointly signed by the state chairman, Mr. Ogbaloi Kelly, State Secretary,  Comrade, Akhere Frederick, State Publicity Secretary, Comrade Sam Uroupa and chairmen of Uhunmeode and Orhionmwon local government areas.

The party accused Imasuen amd others of reckless publications of party policy issues without  due authorization and deep participation in the recent infringement on the party, created  by unintelligent Apapa Lamidi who they described as tragic power seeker of a mean nature.

The statement further said that inspite of the resilience deployed by the party, especially at the state level, that the Exco became considerably constrained to accommodate further with those characters in the party.

Other people suspended includes, Mr.Ikuoyemwen Ehiwe, Mr. Jegede Idemudia and Captain Oronsaye Augustine.

In a telephone conversation with Mr. Paul Murphy Imasuen on his purported suspension by the leadership of the party, he said he cannot react to hear say since he has not been served with any suspension letter.
