ADC Chieftain, Unabor Pays Tribute To Late Oyegun's Sister, Rose Amenaghawon

A chieftain of the coalition party - African Democratic party, ADC - Raphael Unabor has described late madam Rose Amenaghawon nee Odigie-Oyegun, a sister to the former Governor of Edo State and a national leader of ADC, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, as a community leader who lived exemplary life that is worthy of emulation.

Unabor, who is also a leader in the coalition party at Esan North East Local Government Area of Edo State, stated this Friday during a reception held in honour of the late woman at Chief Odigie-Oyegun's company in Government Reservation Area, Benin City.

"She was a true pillar of her family. She dedicated her time and resources to the upliftment of others, leaving behind a legacy of service, generosity and selflessness".

Unabor described her as mentor who render all necessary advice, adding that she left cherished memories that will be treasured for generation to come.

Some of the leaders of the coalition  present to honour the invitation of Chief Odigie-Oyegun, include the state chairman of the party, Kennedy Odion, Senator Ehigie Uzamere, Hon. John Ehima, Hon. Sunny Aguebor, Dr. Isaiah Osifo, Mr. Chris Ojeikere, Chief Tony Allie, Kate Odey, Stella Obaze, Hon. Jafaru Sumaina and members of the ADC state Exco.

The funeral service was earlier held for late madam Amenaghawon at St. James Anglican Church, Benin City. She died at the age of 89 years.
