With the information made available to the Groove Watch News from Edo Central Senatorial District, seeing the inroad being made by the candidate representing Esan West, Esan Central and Igueben Federal Constituency, on the platform of the Labour Party, LP, Engr. Solomon Enoghase Embhonbotiti to win this Saturday's election in a landslide victory, we learnt that some elements of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and that of the All Progressives Congress, APC, are making frantic efforts to frustrate the young man's victory come next Saturday's election, having seen the handwriting on the wall that the present momentum of the Labour party movement is about to send those old political harlots to political oblivion.
However, sources from Edo Central also indicate that the battle line have been drawn between the Obidients movement and those old political elements in the zone who do not want to leave the stage for the youths to come in.
The Obidients movement are now regrouping again to fully displayed their strength by coming out in their numbers to apply their winning streak by making a bold statement with the ballot papers for Engr. Embhonbotiti on the election day.
According to some of the youths who spoke to the Groove Watch News crew on telephone said they were battle ready to challenge those old politicians in APC and PDP whose mission is to inflict hardship and suffering on the masses who are mostly youths and subject them to perpetual poverty so that they can continue to manipulate them in every election circle. They vowed to deliver their candidate with their votes.
"We want to passionately called on other youths who are still hanging around those old political elements as thugs and errand boys to quickly have a rethink and joined the Obidients movement to permanently dislogged them this Saturday to bring our young, energetic and vibrant man in the person of Engr. Solomon Enoghase Embhonbotiti who is a Fellow of the Nigeria Society of Engineers on board. We cannot afford to miss this rare opportunity, it is now or never".
I think in this case the Obidients movement who are mainly youths can actually use this opportunity to permanently liberate themselves from these old politicians who have used them for decades to achieve their political ambitions and dumbed them as soon as they assumed office. While they enjoy their new positions with their families, they will abandoned the youths they used during the election and leave them to continue to languished in the street, until election time again when they will be recruited for the same job.
The youths did marvelously well during the Presidential election and came out with good results across the country, and you need to improve on that sound performance and fully replicate it in this coming Saturday's election with a resounding victory for your candidate that will represent you at the National Assembly.
The coming of the Labour Party Presidential candidate last week Saturday was to say thank you to the Obidients movement in Edo State and also tell them to keep hope alive and vote labour party candidates in this week's election as he continue with his struggle to reclaim his mandate Nigerians freely gave to him on the last Presidential election.
To this end, do not let anyone deceive you that this Saturday's house of Assembly election is not for Peter Obi. Because a vote for Peter Obi is a vote all Labour candidates, and that is the only way to achieve a new Nigeria the masses are yearning for.
