Edo PDP: Help us to resolve our crisis, Obaseki, Aziegbemin begs National Chairman

The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Edo State, Tony Aziegbemin has passionately appealed to the National Chairman of the party, Sen. Iyochia Ayu to help resolve the crisis rocking the party in the state.

He disclosed that PDP was doing well under the leadership of Governor Godwin Obaseki as the party has been able to registered over five hundred  persons into the party, adding that because of the popularity of the party in the state more aspirants are already showing interest to contest the coming elections.

The Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki in his remarks, he equally begged the  national chairman of the party to solve the crisis in some states, especially Edo State if the party will win the 2023 Presidential election.

He assured the chairman that Edo will remain PDP if only the issues causing crisis in the party is resolved as quickly as possible.

Obaseki said the suffering in Nigeria is now unbearable and called on the citizens to reject APC come 2023 Presidential election.

The National Chairman of the party, Iyochia Ayu said the party will do everything not to lose the governor to any other party.  adding that he will set up a team that will fully resolved all pending issues in Edo.

"Edo people, if you are fighting you will lose election. I will come with a team to ensure the problems in Edo is solved. We are very close to solving Edo problems. When the leaders are divided, the followers will follow. Our emphasis is on unity. Leaders must shown leadership".
