The Stallion Club of Nigeria today hosted one of its members, Mr. Peter Aikhuomobhogbe who was recently appointed and sworn in as Permanent Secretary by Governor Godwin Obaseki to a grand reception in Benin City.
The President of the Club, Mr. Jonathan Odin said the Club decided to organize a grand reception for him, because the members were very happy over his elevation to the position of Permanent Secretary.
Mr. Odin described him as a very hard working person, adding that he was going to be a great asset to his Ministry. He further said that Governor Obaseki made a good choice by appointing him.
He expressed the Club's appreciation to Godwin Obaseki for appointing one of their members to such an enviable position and assured him that Peter Aikhuomobhogbe will not disappointed him while performing his duty.
He said Peter Aikhuomobhogbe has been a great pillar in the Club, considering his contributions to the growth of welfare of members and the Club.
"We cannot thank you enough for your commitment and determination towards the Club. Your contributions to the Club has made it firmed. You worth this celebration".
In his response, Mr. Peter Aikhuomobhogbe who was elated with joy, thanked the members of the Club for honouring him in this manner.
He also thanked the Club for all its prayers before and throughout the period of his appointment. He added that he will ever remained grateful to the Club for the honour done to him.
Aikhuomobhogbe who was before his appointment as acting Permanent Secretary before he was confirmed and sworn in recently was the Manager, Agricultural Development Program (ADP), Edo State.
Highlight of the event was a prayer section and the presentation of congratulatory greeting card to Mr. Peter Aikhuomobhogbe by members of Stallion Club of Nigeria.
