The All Progressives Congress (APC), Edo State, held their Ward Congress across the state today on concesus arrangement.
In Ward 7, Stanley Edosonmwan was elected as Chairman while Azumehi Lucky and Sheriff Igbinigie are to serve as Vice-Chairman and Secretary respectively.
In Ward 5, Amos Osagie was also elected Chairman, Vice- Chairman Vincent Otasu while Edagbonya Osamuyi will serve as Secretary.
In an Interview with the Groovewatch Magazine, the Chairman, Committee on Ward Congress, Edo State, Dr. Chris Oghenechovwen disclosed that they are 7 man Committee assigned by the National of the partyl to conduct the Ward Congress.
He added that they were going round the Wards to do affirmation. "We had a meeting with all the stakeholders in the state and they all agreed on consesus arrangement.
On his part, the state Chairman of the party, Col. David Imuse said the Congress is being conducted with brotherliness and love, adding that Edo APC is now stronger and now a party to beat in 2024.
"I can assure you that what you are seing today other party will take a cue from it. No rancour, no crisis and we are all happy. We choose consesus as a way of conducting our Congress".
