A Nollywood Producer, Amb. Okpioba Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen has atributed the inability of the security agents to fight insecurity in the country as a result of the inneficiency  of President Buhari's Government.

He made this statement in an interview with the Groove Watch Magazine in the gala night organised by the Nigerian Bar Association, Benin branch, to round up their 2021 Annual Law Week.

He said there is total collapse and hopelessness in the present government led by Pressident Buhari, adding that he has been of the opinion that  the man will not effect any change.

"Those of us that never supported his emergence have been proven so right. It was a government that was foisted on Nigerians. You can see that it is a sad situation Nigerians are facing right now".

Imasuen said he was highly dissapointed when he heard a statement credited to the Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed that Banditry and kidnapping are not Federal offences, rather, it is a state offence.

Continuing, Imasuen said the issue of insecurity has become a discourse every where in Nigeria as Churches, mosques, schools and social centers are no longer save as everyone are now scared.

He said the situation has never been so bad as we are witnessing now, adding that a government that promised Nigerians a robust economy has taken us to an unbearable situation.

He therefore called on great men and women of intelletual capacity and those who mean well for Nigeria to begin to proffer solutions, in order to overcome insecurity Nigerians are facing.

Amb. Lancelot Imaeuen has earlier congratulated the Benin branch of the Nigerian Bar Association for a successful annual law week. He described the NBA as people that mean well for the Nigeria society due to  their position on several issues.

He congratulated the National President, Olamide Akpata and the state chairman for the good work they are doing and enjoined them to keep it up.
