Okoukoni Care Foundation, a non profitable organization has concluded all arrangements to commence disbursement of cash donations to students of Edo State who recently participated in the verbal test and screening of the Foundation' s yearly cash donations to enable them pay for their WAEC/NECO enrolment fees.
This was disclosed recently to the Groove Watch News by the. Founder of Okoukoni Care Foundation and aspirant for the Edo State 2024 Governorship election, Mr. Martins Azekhumen Okoukoni.
Okoukoni further said that this particular exercise has been part of the Foundation's activities in the past six years, adding that this verbal test and screening took place at Eror Primary School, Uromi and was supervised by a renowned University Don, Dr. Francis Ilenloa Igberaese while Hon. Kelvin Idogei is the organizer of this year's event.
The disbursement
event which will take place on the 26th of August, 2023, will be held at Uromi Town Hall in Esan North East, and will attracts all the beneficiaries across the eighteen local governments Areas of Edo State.
He advice them to take the advantage of this kind gesture to work very hard to pass their exams, as that is the only way they can proceed to the higher institutions of their choice.
He called on those who could not participate in this year's verbal test and screening to prepare for next year so that they can take their turn in the exercise to benefit.
Other areas of the Foundation's support to people includes, payment of tuition fees for students, financial support for people to start their businesses and invest in Community development.
