Oshiomhole In A Fight Between The Elephant And The Pit

Governorship aspirant for the Edo 2024 Gubernatorial election on the platform of the peoples  Democratic Party, PDP,  Barr.  Asue Ighodalo has promised to give the people of Edo State the opportunity to work in his government if elected.

Ighodalo made this promise today while briefing journalists at the Secretariat of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Edo State Council.

He also promised to run a transparent government where  all indegines of the state will benefit effectively, adding that he is blessed with knowledge and know where to find the capacity to give the people the best.

"I'm fully prepared for the governance of Edo State. With commitment from men and women in the state we will succeed. We will create a conducive environment for small scale businesses to strive and also support them with finance to grow their business".

Continuing, he said he will continue with the good policies of governor Godwin Obaseki and improve on it in order to give the people the dividends of democracy.

Ighodalo said having served in the economic team in Governor  Adams  Oshiomhole and Governor Godwin Obaseki's governments, that he is very much abreast with the governance of Edo State, and  that has prepared him for a strong positive leadership in the state.

"If we harness the creative and capability of our youths the country will do better. I will offer my full capacity to work for Edo State".

On the crisis in the Peoples Democratic party in the state Ighodalo promised to be a unifier  in the party because he believed in the unity of the party.
