Edo Legacy Foundation Honours Great Olumese Hotel M/D With Peace Ambassador Award

The President/Publisher, Edo Legacy Foundation Inc. and Bravines Magazine International, Okpiaoba Amb. Engr. Pedro Omo-Aghahowa yesterday bestowed a Prestigeous Niger Delta Peace Award on the Chief Executive Officer, Great Olumese Hotel, Amb. Shaka Olumese at his palatial hotel in Benin City.

During the ceremony, the President of the Edo Legacy Foundation, Amb. Pedro Omo-Aghahowa disclosed that the management of the Foundation deem it fit to honour Amb. Shaka Olumese due to his humanitarian commitment and his disposition to the well being of the Nigeria citizens.

He further said that the committee that did the selection did a thorough investigation about his activity and found him worthy for the award, adding, that is the reason the foundation is honouring him today.

Amb. Shaka Olumese who started his life in a humble beginning  hail from Oria Community in Esan South East of Edo State. He is an investor, business man and community leader. Chief Executive Officer, Great Olumese Hotel and Olumese Foundation.

He was in Europe for several years where he engaged in meaningful jobs and later venture into business that has brought him to the stage he is today.

In order to impact positively in the lives of his people, especially the Nigeria youths and women he decided to come back to Nigeria to establish and continue with his business and philanthropic works. He is a motivational to the youths and helper to the women.

Due to the outstanding qualities in handling people's life challenges drew the attention of Edo Legacy Foundation which today earned him the Prestigeous and deserving award for his humanitarian works.

In a chat with the Groove Watch News shortly after the ceremony, Amb. Shaka Olumese who was highly elated thanked the management of Edo Legacy Foundation for the honour.
He advised the youths to be hard working and not to lose hope in life. He also said they should not lose hope as they continue to struggle, adding that they must always obey the law of the land and that one day they will succeed.

"As a philanthropic I support in various activities, including sports. I feel happy always giving assistance to people. It is just my nature. But you need to be sincere and hard working and the road of success will always open, especially when doing it genuinely.

Amb. Olumese assured Nigerians that he was ready to invest more in hotel business and hospitality to support the government in creating employment for the youths and others.
