OKada Chamber of Comerce Berth in Edo State

The university community of Okada,  Ovia North East  Local Government Area of Edo State has taken another step further in placing the state on a global economic activities with the establishment of the Okada  Chamber of Commerce,  Industry,  Mines and Agriculture. 

At the maiden meeting of   the board members,  the  President of  the Chamber,  Prof. Raphael Igbinosa Adeghe disclosed that the Okada Chamber of Commerce,  Industry,  Mines and Agriculture would open  floodgates of  business and economic activities not only to Okada but also to other communities, institutions  and the state at large.

He observed that Okada is already a brand, pointing out that the Igbinedion University Okada has become the first University in Nigeria to have a chamber of commerce,  Industry, Mines and Agriculture attached to it.

The President who hinted that the Chamber will attract alot of investments into the community, attributed the  economic prosperity of Lagos state partly to the activities of the  Lagos Chamber of Commerce,  Industry,  Mines and Agriculture. 

On his part,  the Vice-president,  Okada Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture,  Prof. Tunde Esan said they would work assiduously towards making the  Okada  Chamber of Commerce,  Industry,  Mines and Agriculture the most vibrant chamber in the world, adding that the chamber will direct global attention to OKada. 

Also speaking, the Chairman,  Board of  Trustees,  Okada Chamber of Commerce,  Industry,  Mines and Agriculture,  Chief Lucky Igbinedion congratulated the President and members of the chamber for their individual and  collective efforts in establishing the chamber. 

Chief Igbinedion  who is  also a  former governor of Edo State charged the President and members to galvanize the surrounding local government areas , communities and the state to key into the vision of the chamber while expressing optimism  that the chamber would achieve its goals given the pedigree of members.
