Men of God has been advised to always have interest in the welfare of their members, as that is the only way they could remain as servants of God.

This admonition was given by Apostle Dr. Trinity Orgar, the guest speaker,in a sermon titled: "God is looking for a man he will anoint", during the Consecration and Enthronement of Fred Aghedo as Archbishop in Benin City by the Niger Delta Bishop and Minister Forum led by their President, Archbishop Julius Ediwe.

He said the first qualification in man to serve God is being a servant.

Apostle Ogar said if God must found you worthy that one must equally remain humble, adding that there must be emptiness in a man of God first, in order to be filled with anointing of the Almighty God.

The President of the Niger Delta Bishop and Minister Forum, Arch. Bishop Julius Ediwe said all the necessary investigation was carried out by the forum about Fred Aghedo and that he was found worthy for the elevation as Archbishop.
He advised him to use his new position to serve humanity and be more humble as he serve in God's vineyard.

Governor Godwin Obaseki in his remark said everyone has reason to thank God. "I can never forget the way Archbishop Fred Aghedo stood out to support me with his congregation during my election. Therefore, I decided to put aside other things to come and celebrate with you on this occasion".

Later in an interview with the new Archbishop Fred Aghedo, he said he was very delighted for the consecration and elevation.

Arch. Bishop Aghedo  who is the founder of Gospel Defender Ministry Int'l. Inc. and the Vice-Chairman, Niger Delta Bishop and Minister Forum also said he was happy that Governor Godwin Obaseki came to graced the acasion.

"I feel so good as God Almighty has answered me. It is a dream come through. This is the height of it in the Pentecostal arena".

He said with this elevation that much will be expected from him, and that he have to do better than he has been doing. He thanked the forum for deeming it fit to elevate him to his present position.
"I  have been a bishop for fifteen years now. It is more responsibility that has been added to my work. I prayed to God to give me the strength to finish his work".

He however regretted that there is no unity among the christians and leadership of christians in Nigeria and Africa in general.

According to him, "We are not behaving as if we are one. It is a divided body between the body of Christ. If kingdom start rising against kingdom it cannot stand. I prayed for  an agreement for the body of Christ".

On her part, the 2nd Vice-Chairman of the Niger Delta Bishop and Minister Forum, Dr. Bishop Justina Ebireri said she was glad that God made the event a successful one and enjoined christians to always encourage each other in whatever they are doing.
