The chairmanship candidate of Oredo Local Government, on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the forthcoming Edo State Local Government election, Mr. Johnson Elema has appealed for support from the members of the Executive of the party.
Elema made the appeal today at the Oredo party Secretariat, third Cementary Road in Benin City, during his official flag up of his campaign of the local government election.
According to Elema, "I need your support to win the election. I promised to give the people of Oredo a good and purposeful representation if elected and I will not disappoint you".
On his part, the state secretary of the party, Engr. Lawrence Okah who was present with some of his State executive members enjoined the party members to give the chairmanship candidate and the councillors the full support needed to enable them win the election.
Okah described Oredo as a strategic local government area that needs all the attention required to succeed in all elections. "Mobilize your people from the units level. Iet us work hard and i believe we can be sure of victory. Lets make this local government election the best one".
Also present at the event were, Mr. Osamudiamwen Osarenkhoe, chairmen of the wards and other party leaders
Highlight of the event was the official handover of the party flag to the chairmanship candidate, Johnson Elema and his Vice chairman, Mrs. Weyimi Omorogiuwa by the Oredo party chairman, Osamudiamwen Osarenkhoe.
