The candidate for the House of Representatives, Oredo Constituency, on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Osaro Obazee today in Benin City inaugurated his campaign council for his campaign organization and also flagged off his campaign.
In his remark, Hon. Osaro Obazee said he was highly delighted and happy for the inauguration, adding that the turn out of party members was very impressive.
He thanked the party for giving him the opportunity to contest on its platform and to represent them at Abuja.
"I want to assure you of my dedication and commitment to the party and I will not disappoint the party if given the Mandate to serve".
"Today we gathered to formally inaugurate the Campaign Council of my campaign organization and to equally flag off. I will call it a Christmas flag off and inauguration".
Obazee thanked all other ethnic groups who are also party members that attended the occasion and appealed to them to continue their support for the party.
On his part, the Edo State Chairman of APC, Col. David Imuse, Rtd, said the coming election is very critical to the party because 2023 is the gate way to Edo 2024, adding that they must all work hard for the party's victory.
He further said that he was happy that the party have good candidates that will also help the party to win the election easily.
Shortly after the inauguration, the Director General of the Osaro Campaign Organization, Mr. Moses Idahosa said the members of the campaign organization were carefully selected as they are party members that are committed.
"We have the capability to deliver our candidate. Our candidate has a good track record. He will be very easy for us to market. We will do our best to ensure victory for him".
Other dignitaries present at the event were the former Deputy Governor, Dr. Pius Odubu, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, Mr. Lawrence Okah and the candidate representing Oredo West Constituency, Engr. Gabriel Iduseri.
Highlight of the occasion was the official inauguration of the members of the Campaign Council.
