The National secretariat of the Nigeria Union Of Journalists has reconstituted the National Secretariat and Lagos state council committee to honour media icons in the country .
This was contained In a letter signed by the National Secretary of the Nigeria Union of Journalists , Shuaibu Usman Leman and made available to The Groove Watch News.
In the letter, 12 man committee were named to organize the event which include, Otunba Gbenga Onayiga as Chairman while Olayide Awosanya will serve as secretary .
Other members of the committee are Adeleye Ajayi, Tunde Olalere, Sylva Okereke, Wale Akodu, Julie Ekong and Abimbola Oyetunde .
Also in the committee are Festus Alenkhe , Grace Ike, lfeanyi Nwanguma and Umar Saidu.
The Media lcons joint planning committee members drawn from the National secretariat of NUJ and the Lagos state council are expected to organize a Media ICONS Award for 2023.
