A Bureau De Change Operator, Alhaji Jubrin Abdulahi has said that the introduction of the new naira notes was done in bad faith and to punish the already suffering Nigerians.

Alhaji Abdulahi made this assertion in an interview with the Groove Watch News In Benin  City.

He said the new policy has grossly affected their business since the beginning of the exercise, as they no longer get patronage from their customers because they have no cash at hand to pay them immediately.

"We no longer see money to do business. No money to feed. Even in the bank you can no longer access your money. It is presently affecting all businesses. And the suffering is becoming unbearable".

Abdulahi who is the chairman of the Bureau De Change, New Benin branch, appealed to the authority in charge to make the old notes available since the new currency in not in the circulation.
